BIKE RENTALS
Walnut Creek Bike Company is a full-service bike shop located on the Lafayette side of Walnut Creek, California. We have been in operation for years and offer e-bikes for use on the miles of local, paved trails as well as bikes for rent in downtown Walnut Creek.
Our shop is staffed with several certified mechanics who can answer all your questions about setting up the bike you rent and assist you with daily riders as well. Our rental fleet includes a variety of front shock Mountain Bikes, hybrids from Giant and Special, and much more.
Rentals are available by the day, week, or month for individuals and small groups. We also offer guided tours of the Bay Area on classic bicycles as well as group bicycle rides a couple of times a week that often coincide with nearby parades and events. All of our bicycles also come fully equipped with helmets, lights, and locks for safety and convenience. Our pleasant, expert staff will come with you every step of the way to help you discover Walnut Creek as you’ve never experienced it!
BIKE TUNE-UPS & SERVICE
Tuning a bike is an important part of keeping your bike running at its best. A bike that is properly tuned up will make you faster and more comfortable while riding. Maintaining a well-tuned up bike is vital for your safety, as a failure of any vital part can put you in the hospital or worse.
Our professional mechanic will tune-up your bike, making sure everything is tightened, adjusted, and fine-tuned to ensure your bike rides great! We’ll shine your rims, replace the chain and cassette if needed, clean the drive train completely–and even touch up that paint.
At Walnut Creek Bike Company each bike is treated like it’s our own. Our staff are technically trained, offering you a higher level of service than a typical bike shop can provide. We have an old-school feel where we work by hand on our bike and tune it up as if we were riding it ourselves.
