BIKE RENTALS
East Lansing Bike Company is committed to providing all of the community with a full range of high-quality, affordable bicycle options that help you see and appreciate campus, town, and beyond. Our mission is to provide access for everyone and make cycling a safe and friendly part of life in East Lansing.
We provide a general rental fleet, including bikes and tandems, and for an additional charge, we are happy to accommodate our rental bikes with child seats, trailers, or training wheels. We rent to individual riders, couples, families with kids, and can even handle larger events complete with “bike valets”. We understand that many people don’t feel comfortable riding a bicycle until they get the hang of it, and we work to provide all the support needed to ensure your event is a success.
We pride ourselves on being friendly and personal in an industry where this attribute is often overlooked. We strive to help each customer make the most out of their riding experience in order to maximize their enjoyment. Our knowledgeable staff can help you pick out the perfect bike, rent you a helmet, show you how to use it properly, and provide maintenance tips. BIKE TUNE-UPS & SERVICE
We are East Lansing Bike Company. We offer bike tune-ups and repairs for all types of bikes. From tune-ups to fabrication to build it yourself, bike accessories, cycling computers, helmets, and the best selection of parts and tires in the area we can answer your cycling needs.
We are aware that a good repair shop has the technical skills and product knowledge required to achieve excellent results, as well as providing a comfortable place to spend time. People our size are able to fix bikes ranging from the most budget-friendly models to high-end bikes with price tags reaching into the thousands. We have some tools available but if your bike requires special or advanced mechanical care we can work with our sister company to get you what you need at an affordable price.

We offer a year-long warranty on all bicycles purchased from us and offer a wide range of customizable bicycles. We strive to offer the best possible service with tools, parts, education, and guidance from our skilled mechanics. Our custom bike building workshop is filled with tools that allow us to create one-of-a-kind bicycles using quality parts from around the world.
From durable steel frames to lightweight carbon fiber wheels, we combine classic design with modern technology and meticulous detailing to create a truly exceptional ride. We carry high-quality components from top brands such as Shimano, SRAM, Rock Shox, Avid, and many more.
Our custom bike-building service allows you to choose from thousands of products with various brands to create your very own bicycle. We are a full-service shop capable of building any type and style of bike. Our mission is to outfit you with one of our hand-crafted bicycles that will be durable and reliable over time.
