Durham Bike Company is the premier source for e-bike on the east coast. We provide all types and styles of bikes for rent whether you need a cruiser bike to take around town or a road bike that has been road-tested we got you covered. We also rent child seats, trailers, tag along, and lockers for your convenience.
All of our bikes are easy to access with a convenient online booking process on an hourly, weekly, and monthly rental basis. Our friendly staff will help you pick out a bike and get set up because they are committed to providing exceptional customer service and helping you plan your adventures. We will also assist with any questions you may have before renting or even while you are on your rental.
The rental process is easy, simply choose from one of our packages and reserve your bike via our website or call in advance of your visit. On your designated rental day we will conveniently pick you up from your accommodation by bicycle, and then drop you off at a selected location back to your accommodation on completion of your journey. Durham Bike Company is the place to go for all your bicycle needs. Whether it is a tune-up, full-service job, bike repair, or anything in between, we are your one-stop-shop. We can make any part or accessory we sell fit your bike and do it professionally every time. Our experienced staff can also offer you help picking out the perfect parts or accessories and we always have new arrivals coming in every day.
Rigorous tune-up process includes inspection and adjustment of all moving parts; replacement of cables, chain, and lubrication; tire pressure check; wheel truing, cables, and brake adjustments as needed; checking and adjusting brakes for free movement and much more.
We established this company with a simple mission: to provide affordable, expert bike repair and tune-ups to the people of Durham. To accomplish this mission, we’ve kept our prices low and streamlined our operations to provide a quick turnaround. We are proud that we’ve helped thousands of people keep their bikes on the road.
CUSTOM E-BIKE BUILDING
Durham Bike Company specializes in rentals, repairs, and other types of services. We also offer custom builds and have a good understanding of components and are happy to build to your specification. We offer a full warranty on all our builds and support them with servicing and part replacement if needed.
Our specially designed production techniques make our hand-built frames the best available. In addition to standard bicycle parts and accessories, we can make custom bikes for police departments, fire departments, specialty cycles for adults and children, and whatever else you can imagine.
