Reading Bike Company Bike Rentals are a sustainable transportation alternative to the bus and the automobile for visitors to the City of Reading. Our bikes are available for rent by the hour or by the day at seventeen convenient locations throughout Reading. Our e-bike option is fun, convenient, healthy, and a great way to see neighborhoods and places that you would otherwise miss!
Offering a variety of bikes for adults and children. Choose the bicycle of your choice to ride through a local park or to the shore. Bikes have been carefully selected from our vast rental fleet, so you can start your adventure right away. Our fleet includes seven types of bicycles available for rent, including family cruisers, Dutch-style cargo bikes, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, classic mountain bikes for the adventurous biker, tandems for couples or families, and electric-assist bikes.
We believe in bikes as a key part of a healthy lifestyle and want to make it as convenient and fun as possible for you to enjoy them during your visit. In addition to our proven fleet of reliable, comfortable, and safe bicycles, we offer a wide variety of tours and events.
BIKE TUNE-UPS & SERVICE
Reading Bike Company is a full-service shop that offers tune-ups, repairs, and maintenance for any bike, as well as winterizing your bicycle for the changing seasons from children’s cruisers to BMX bikes to adult road or mountain bikes. We are passionate about bicycling, and we enjoy educating customers about bicycle safety and maintenance.
Our certified mechanics are trained to service and repair all types of bikes as well as repair and adjustments to your bicycle, lube, and oil cables, tighten loose bolts, adjust brakes and gears, replace worn tires, outer tubes, inner tubes, and patches (if necessary), true wheels and measure & adjust stem height. They have over 25 years of experience in the industry and are dedicated to making sure that your bike runs in top shape and will last for years to come. Our goal is to make sure every bike we work on leaves our shop riding smoothly whether it needs a simple repair or is due for a complete overhaul.
At Reading Bike Company we tune, repair, and adjust bicycles that allow individuals to travel independently on a mode of transportation they already know.
